During October 7-11, we held our annual Cupcakes for Cancer event where we sold freshly baked cupcakes from Kaff’s Bakery. Although our turnout was a bit smaller than last year, we were still able to raise a commendable amount of money for breast cancer research.
Thanks to our patrons and our friends in the Diamond District, we were able to raise $3,000 – that’s a lot of cupcakes! One-hundred percent of the proceeds are going to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Breast cancer is a disease that, unfortunately, touches many of the people in our lives. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone who participated and donated. We’ll see you again next year with more fresh cupcakes!
